As many as one million individuals in the United States live with Parkinson's disease. While approximately four percent of people with Parkinson's are diagnosed before the age of 50, incidence increases with age. Parkinson's disease is a movement disorder with symptoms that continue and worsen over time. Symptoms include muscle rigidity, tremors, and changes in speech and gait. If you have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, you may be eligible to participate in one of our research studies of an investigational medication for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
