Neck and shoulder pain is a common complaint and can result from trauma, poor posture, degenerative diseases, muscle strain, pinched nerves, and many other different reasons. It is often treated with anti-inflammatory medication and/or a local application of moist heat or ice. Exercises may also help. However, if these treatments have not worked for you, participating in a research study is another option. If you suffer with chronic neck and shoulder pain, you may be eligible to participate in one of our research studies to evaluate an investigational treatment for neck and shoulder pain.

Throughout the course of one of our studies, you will be carefully monitored by our experienced medical research staff. Financial compensation may also be provided for your time and travel. The studies may last up to six weeks with several scheduled visits at one of our clinic locations over that time, depending on the study.
