Fibromyalgia is an increasingly recognized chronic pain illness which is characterized by widespread musculoskeletal aches, pain and stiffness, soft tissue tenderness, general fatigue, depression and sleep disturbances. The most common sites of pain include the neck, back, shoulders, pelvis and hands, but any body part can be involved. Fibromyalgia patients experience a range of symptoms of varying intensities. For those with severe symptoms, fibromyalgia can be extremely debilitating and interfere with basic daily activities. If you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia or are experiencing these symptoms, you may be eligible to participate in one of our research studies of an investigational treatment for fibromyalgia.

As a study volunteer, you may receive study-related exams and lab tests as well as investigational treatment at no cost to you. Throughout the course of one of our studies, you will be carefully monitored by our experienced medical research staff. Financial compensation may also be provided for your time and travel. The studies may last up to 18 months with several scheduled visits at one of our clinic locations over that time, depending on the study.
