Diabetic foot ulcers are a serious complication of diabetes mellitus that occur in 15% of Americans with diabetes. Foot ulcers are open sores or wounds that most often occur on the bottom of the foot as a result of poor circulation which may accompany diabetes. If you have Type II diabetes mellitus and a chronic foot ulcer, you may be eligible to participate in one of our research studies of an investigational treatment for diabetic foot ulcers. Not currently enrolling.
As a study volunteer, you may receive study-related exams and lab tests as well as investigational treatment at no cost to you. Throughout the course of one of our studies, you will be carefully monitored by our experienced medical research staff. Financial compensation may also be provided for your time and travel. The studies may last up to three months with several scheduled visits at one of our clinic locations over that time, depending on the study.  If you are interested in participating in one of our diabetic foot ulcer studies, please call us for a no cost screening and evaluation or click here to complete our registration form and one of our friendly staff will contact you.
